Where My Breath Meets the Trees."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After Biscuit&#8217;s walk I sometimes stop at the overlook and run through a short sequence\u2014nothing performative, just hips and hamstrings thanking me for not sitting at a desk all day studying ratios. The trees do not clap. That is fine.<\/p>\n<p>Yoga for me is crunchy in the real sense: whole-body wellness, nervous system calm, the opposite of eating sad desk salad under fluorescent lights. I combine it with trails because nature is the best studio and the membership is free.<\/p>\n<p>I am flexible enough to touch my toes on good days and flexible enough to laugh on bad ones. Neither day makes me a guru. Both days make me nicer at the grocery store.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to start, skip the perfect mat photo. Go outside. Breathe until your shoulders drop.
